This was recored with Brent Thoma at the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (CAEP) meeting in Vancouver last week. It was done as a parody of the Bob and Doug McKenzie’s show on Second City TV (SCTV) called The Great White North. We interviewed four leaders of the Canadian Free Open Access to Medical Education (CanFOAMed) movement including Chris Bond, Elisha T, Eve Purdy and Stella Yiu.

The Great White North show on SCTV celebrated unique aspects of the Canadian experience. The stereo type of the Canadian beer drinking, plaid jacket and toque wearing Hoser was played up.
