Bob and Doug McKenzie in SGNewWave – Little Shop of Horrors Interview
In the video SGNewWave – Little Shop of Horrors Interview, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as an idea to both satisfy and mock legal Canadian content laws, the duo morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The brothers later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I love the film it’s really funny
I found musical parties actually but
then there was also a good mix for a
somewhat horror into it so you can hear
like on the edge of your seat and the
songs are so nice I didn’t expect it
it’s like horror the overall it’s like
still quite light hearted so I think the
musical part helped I think that this
film isn’t a true horror film but it did
have a lot of unexpected elements in it
like the abusive relationship and the
world domination via plans could add on
the psychotic character but I mean the
dentist is already psychotic enough with
him meeting another patient who is
pretty more psychotic that’s whatever
else where negative and negative will
get something positive shooting on a
soundstage to me helps the film a lot
because it really reminds the audience
that they are watching performance the
theatre kind of style
here we’ll likable because he’s guilty
of his action and he knows that it’s
wrong to do what he did and who doesn’t
agree with maybe his cute face adorable
because we all know that he deep down
inside he’s really innocent he doesn’t
really want to do this but he has to
because you’ll get it will make him get
something that he I don’t think about
what is more anything about myself what
would what would audience one would they
really want to see this kind of duck
film itself or a property shave happy
and being because that’s what in the
Opera be a happy ending fairy tales and
that’s what they feel to go for every
point final so they will be one ready
for a film that breaks that cliche but I
felt like this that director’s cut
actually is a truer version of the story
so the director had a purpose for it to
not be a happy ending
