In the video SHAW VS THOMAS – BARE KNUCKLE HEAVYWEIGHT WAR – EXCLUSIVE HIGHLIGHTS #BKB17, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a sketch to both fulfill and mock non sensical Canadian content statutes, the two morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The pair later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
