In the video She is Like a Rick MoranisFights like a Hamster viral###short###foryou###sad###, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian comedians who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is created by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite brought to life originally as a joke to both fulfill and make fun of network Canadian content laws, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The characters later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
