  1. Can someone, anyone, explain the humor behind the Sid Dithers character always telling the “San Franciski; how did you came, did you drive or did you flew?”
Is bad grammar supposed to be part of being a Jewish Hollywood agent?

  2. Always one of my fav running gags on SCTV as a kid, still use it but only a couple friends get the reference, (other friends loss i guess for missing it, lost a bit of respect for them!! LOL)

  3. Was able to pull out the Sid Dithers classic today on an elderly gentleman sporting a SF jacket, at a yard sale I was working. He flew……thx for posting, OP!

  4. Classic.  I always use this as a response. Was at a work related seminar and somebody mentioned they had just got back from a project in San Francisco. I had to say it.  Just heard crickets chirping but I was cracking up inside.

  5. For the last 33+ years, anytime someone has mentioned "San Fransisco" I've either thought of this or on many occasions said it out loud….to the recipient's total and utter bewilderment, which makes it that much more entertaining. Thanks for posting this. My wife just said it to our son, which means we're soul mates – so I came here to show him.
