My Dad tells me that following a MacLean & MacLean gig in the 70's, Gary and Blair were at our house in Uplands having a drink with Mom and Dad, and Dad's cousin who was a promoter in Winnipeg, where they were based. He just told me this a few days ago! We were probably aged 6 or 7 at the time. Too funny!!!
Hello, what is the album at 16:46?
Rising Force – one of my neater dollar pickups. Strange Brew – a classic (and makes Hamlet palatable).
I went to college with a dude from Canada. How he ended up in the Mississippi Delta is weird to me. For Thanksgiving break, I offered to let him come back home with me and share some good food and family time. Plus, I hated to think of that poor dude sitting alone in the dorm by himself for almost a week. So, when I told my family that he was coming (and that he was from Canada), the first thing my sweet grandmother asked was if he knew Anne Murray. I thought that was a hoot.
Thanks for sharing these, Gil. Glad you're healing up.

The square of beer is 24! I file John Cougar Mellencamp under C just to piss him off. Every time he comes over it drives him nuts.

You don't need hair cut.
Nice Metallica collection.
I have that Manhattan Transfer album too. It’s seems to be a standard for high school music teachers
I don't know if you're going to be able to handle that disturbed album with all that stuff you're showing me tonight .
