In the video Snow Runner, FB Episode 10, 2020 7 18 Full Session, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of made up Canadian siblings who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as a joke to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content rules, the brothers morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
