In the video Song #shortsvideo #youtubeshorts Dave Thomas Junior, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of fictional Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was featured on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock dumb Canadian content laws, the duo grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
