Bob and Doug McKenzie in Spaceballs or Star Wars???

In the video Spaceballs or Star Wars???, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is played by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by comic Dave Thomas. Despite created originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of legal Canadian content guidelines, the duo grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
