Bob and Doug McKenzie in Spaceballs Theme Song
In the video Spaceballs Theme Song, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hilarious Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it moved to CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as a skit to both follow guidelines and laugh about silly Canadian content laws, the characters morphed into a pop culture success in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Spaceballs The Pirated YouTube video
Spaceballs is real masterpiece – funny, interesting, intriguing and very entertaining. Visual effects were awesome too. This parody on Star Wars, Alien, Planet of Apes became my favorite spoof film (along with Galaxy Quest). Bill Pullman, Daphne Zuniga, John Candy, Mel Brooks, Rick Moranis and all others did a brilliant job. Too bad they didn't make a sequel. That-time Spoof films had nice jokes while our modern ones only can use strong language, black humour & sex. No originality these days
