Bob and Doug McKenzie in SpaceX Launch Animated

In the video SpaceX Launch Animated, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian actors who created “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as fluff to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content policies, the characters transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
