Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as an idea to both satisfy and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content legislation, the two grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
