In the video Speech Bubble W/ Butch Hartman – Feat. Dave Thomas, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is created by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a sketch to both fulfill and laugh at annoying Canadian content demands, the characters transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The two became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
