Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is acted by Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as an idea to both please and laugh at annoying Canadian content demands, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I watched this movie yet again recently and loved it. It never gets old! It should have received better praise also.
Great honest review. I always kind of felt it was an Arthur like movie. I think the length critique makes sense. Trimming and some editing by keeping the main jokes would have perhaps helped this movie get better review. It has been years since I have seen it. That great line of them coming up the stairs back to the home is always what I recall "Drunk again sir?" -That's okay, so are we"
