Bob and Doug McKenzie in Spring Waltz Flowers

In the video Spring Waltz Flowers, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as an idea to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about legal Canadian content rules, the duo became a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
