Bob and Doug McKenzie in Sprinters Fighting For It

In the video Sprinters Fighting For It , Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian family members who created “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 80’s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was created originally as a sketch to both please and make fun of stupid Canadian content demands, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
