How much the comedy world lost from the untimely death of John Candy. And even today he has not received (posthumously) the recognition he deserves as one of the great comedians of this century.

John Candy as Orson Wells is gold.
the writing on SNL got so vulgar, and the new cast didn't have the natural talent the original cast had. I discovered SCTV and never looked back, I mean SNL To me is unwatchable.

That's Paul Flaherty- Joe's brother- as The Bellhop.
Great Acting, writing, costumes and production design. These are what made SCTV IMHO far superior to that dinosaur called SNL! Long live SCTV. Hail the Second City gang.
