In the video Steve Martin and Rick Moranis in Little Shop of Horrors (1986), Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian comedians who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is created by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at non sensical Canadian content statutes, the duo turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The characters soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

I immediately help Orin to the floor and I help him with removing his gas mask. I sit beside him on the floor as he starts to calm down from his hysterical cackling.
Me: hey, you okay?
Orin: gasping yeah, I think so.
