Bob and Doug McKenzie in STEVE MARTIN and RICK MORANIS mambo to Madness’s “Wings of a Dove”

In the video STEVE MARTIN and RICK MORANIS mambo to Madness’s “Wings of a Dove”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of made up Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a skit which was featured on SCTV for the show’s third season when it streamed by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the eighties. Bob’s part is created by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was born originally as fluff to both follow guidelines and mock network Canadian content guidelines, the pair turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
