In the video Still Crazy After All These Years (Last verse) – Dave Thomas O’Gorman, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of fictional Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 80’s. Bob’s character is played by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as filler to both fulfill and make fun of silly Canadian content policies, the duo grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The brothers became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

The last verse of Still Crazy is my favourite – it has the modulation! My camera died mid song so I recorded this separately. It’s a lovely and subtle modulation in this verse. A masterful piece of songwriting by Paul Simon. It’s a pleasure to play it.
