Bob and Doug McKenzie in Still In Love

In the video Still In Love, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of hysterical Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it braodcast by CBC Television in . The character Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as a skit to both fulfill and laugh at network Canadian content laws, the siblings turned into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The characters later became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
