Bob is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously made originally as filler to both please and laugh at non sensical Canadian content legislation, the duo grew up to be a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The two became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
