In the video Strange Brew 1983 (CLIP) – I am your father, Luke., Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was introduced on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is played by comic Dave Thomas. The sketch was developed originally as a joke to both fulfill and laugh at non sensical Canadian content laws, the two grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The two went on to become the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

Strange Brew was scheduled to be released after Return of the Jedi, hence the reference, but ROTJ was still in production while this scene was being filmed. That's the reason Bob just calls it "Jedi" as it still wasn't publicly confirmed whether the film would be called Return or Revenge of the Jedi at the time this scene was being made.
