Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew (1983)

In the video Strange Brew (1983) , Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was aired on second city television for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as an idea to both satisfy and make fun of dumb Canadian content legislation, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The pair enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
