Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange brew 1983

In the video Strange brew 1983, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of strange Canadian actors who can been seen in “Great White North”, a segment which was shown on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob McKenzie is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is acted by actor Dave Thomas. Despite made originally as a sketch to both fulfill and mock annoying Canadian content laws, the brothers became a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The pair became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
