Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew (1983) score – 10 – Light Them Up

In the video Strange Brew (1983) score – 10 – Light Them Up, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian brothers who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it got sent to the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in 1980. Bob’s part is performed by comic Rick Moranis and the character Doug is performed by comic Dave Thomas. Which was born originally as a skit to both please and make fun of annoying Canadian content policies, the pair transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
