In the video Strange Brew (1983) score – 19 – Bob & Doug Find the “Nuclear Bomb Shelter”, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of odd Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was featured on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it streamed by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob’s character is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by comic Dave Thomas. Despite developed originally as a joke to both satisfy and make fun of annoying Canadian content rules, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the US. The brothers became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
