In the video Strange Brew (1983) score – 21 – Following the Van, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian brothers who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was broadcast on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most liked season when it aired by CBC Television in in the early 80s. Bob is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is created by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as an idea to both please and makes jokes about dumb Canadian content statutes, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and across the border. The pair went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
