Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew (1983) – Theatrical Trailer

In the video Strange Brew (1983) – Theatrical Trailer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of odd Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in the year 1980. Bob McKenzie is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by Dave Thomas. The bit was created originally as an idea to both please and laugh about network Canadian content rules, the pair became a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
