Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – big Bob #1

In the video Strange Brew – big Bob #1, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was aired on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it braodcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is performed by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was made originally as a sketch to both follow guidelines and laugh about silly Canadian content policies, the two transformed into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
