Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – big Bob #2

In the video Strange Brew – big Bob #2, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of odd Canadian siblings who are responsible for “Great White North”, a skit which was introduced on SCTV – second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it was featured on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is performed by Dave Thomas. Which was developed originally as a sketch to both fulfill and make fun of stupid Canadian content laws, the two grew up to be a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The McKenzie siblings became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
