Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – big hill

In the video Strange Brew – big hill, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of hysterical Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was introduced on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it braodcast by CBC Television in 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by comic Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is created by Dave Thomas. Although created originally as a sketch to both satisfy and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content rules, the brothers became a pop culture success in both Canada and America. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
