In the video Strange Brew – Chuck Norris For The Defense, Eh, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a group of imaginaryfunny Canadian actors who were featured in “Great White North”, a segment which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it streamed by CBC Television in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by the comedian Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as a skit to both please and mock annoying Canadian content statutes, the pair grew up to be a pop culture hit in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
