Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – Chuck Norris

In the video Strange Brew – Chuck Norris, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of strange Canadian actors who starred in “Great White North”, a segment which was broadcast on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is created by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was created originally as a skit to both please and laugh about non sensical Canadian content legislation, the siblings transformed into a pop culture success in both Canada and across the border. The pair went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
