In the video Strange Brew Crush your head like a nut, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of strange Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a show which was featured on second city television for the show’s most liked season when it was featured on CBC Television in the 1980s. The character Bob McKenzie is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by comic Dave Thomas. The bit was brought to life originally as filler to both satisfy and laugh at dumb Canadian content statutes, the siblings became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the US. The two became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
