Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew End Credits

In the video Strange Brew End Credits, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who hosted “Great White North”, a program which was featured on SCTV for the show’s 3rd season when it was aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in in the early 80s. Bob is acted by Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. It was brought to life originally as a skit to both satisfy and laugh at non sensical Canadian content rules, the pair turned into a pop culture smash hit in both Canada and America. The characters later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
