Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – getting warmer in here

In the video Strange Brew – getting warmer in here, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of fictional Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it braodcast by CBC Television in . Bob’s character is brought to life by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was developed originally as an idea to both fulfill and laugh about stupid Canadian content demands, the characters grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
