Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – in jail

Bob’s partThe character Bob is played by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about stupid Canadian content rules, the two transformed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers went on to become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
