Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – Meeting Rosie

In the video Strange Brew – Meeting Rosie, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of fictional Canadian brothers who can been seen in “Great White North”, a sketch which was included on SCTV – second city television for the show’s third season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s character is played by Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously created originally as a sketch to both satisfy and mock network Canadian content laws, the siblings morphed into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
