Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – Original Trailer
In the video Strange Brew – Original Trailer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a skit which was included on second city television for the show’s 3rd season when it moved to CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is played by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was brought to life originally as a joke to both satisfy and mock annoying Canadian content legislation, the siblings turned into a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie siblings soon became the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
