  1. You hosers get slightly funnier as the video and movie go along eh. I was a fan of SCTV and Bob and Doug enough to go out of my way to see Strange Brew first run and it was well worth a theater viewing, the larger audience the better. It's my Canadian classic cinema favorite (not to mention the only one on the list eh). Making Hosehead fly with a magic red cape trailing behind was a brilliant ending to a great movie. It was beauty.

  2. For anyone wondering why Jim said "fuck you, Colin" when Colin said he'd never heard of Vikings, it's because Jim was a lead matte painter for Vikings for many many episodes.

  3. I am shaking my head at you in disappointment.

Max von Sydow… Ming the Merciless in Flash Gordon.

You researched and found out who did the matte paintings and missed von Sydow's (arguably) biggest role for people of our generation? Really?

  4. Just found this. Strange Brew is one of my favorite movies. My son and I watched it together when he was a teenager (he’s now 50) and laughed our heads off. One of our favorite lines”That’s a beauty, clerk (clark)”. We say it often. Great review!
