Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew

In the video Strange Brew, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of made up Canadian comedians who are responsible for “Great White North”, a program which was streamed on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it got sent to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by Dave Thomas. Even thoughFamously developed originally as a sketch to both please and laugh about network Canadian content statutes, the siblings turned into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the States. The two later became the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
