In the video Strange Brew thats how you handle the press, Bob and Doug McKenzie are two of imaginaryfunny Canadian family members who are responsible for “Great White North”, a segment which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob is acted by the funny Rick Moranis and the character Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Although created originally as fluff to both please and laugh about legal Canadian content policies, the two grew up to be a pop culture sensation in both Canada and across the border. The two soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
