Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew – Trailer

In the video Strange Brew – Trailer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian actors who hosted “Great White North”, a show which was streamed on SCTV for the show’s third season when it aired by the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the 1980s. Bob is acted by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by actor Dave Thomas. Regardless the fact it was made originally as fluff to both fulfill and make fun of legal Canadian content guidelines, the two morphed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
