Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew Trailer – by Donavon

In the video Strange Brew Trailer – by Donavon, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of hilarious Canadian comedians who were featured in “Great White North”, a program which was aired on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most popular season when it was broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Channel in the year 1980. The character Bob McKenzie is performed by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although born originally as a joke to both follow guidelines and makes jokes about annoying Canadian content rules, the characters morphed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the USA. The McKenzie brothers enetually would become the focus of a an amazing comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
