Bob and Doug McKenzie in Strange Brew trailer

In the video Strange Brew trailer, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a couple of odd Canadian siblings who hosted “Great White North”, a segment which was televised on SCTV – second city television for the show’s most watched season when it aired by CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s partThe character Bob is brought to life by comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is created by actor Dave Thomas. The sketch was brought to life originally as filler to both fulfill and makes jokes about silly Canadian content guidelines, the two transformed into a pop culture hit in both Canada and America. The pair soon became the focus of a huge comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
