In the video Stung At The Beach!, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of hysterical Canadian family members who were featured in “Great White North”, a sketch which was shown on SCTV for the show’s most popular season when it was featured on CBC Television in the eighties. Bob’s partThe character Bob is performed by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug McKenzie’s part is created by comic Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a sketch to both please and laugh about stupid Canadian content rules, the siblings turned into a pop culture success in both Canada and the US. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a classic comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
We went to the beach today! It was so nice to get back to see the ocean and feel the sand on our feet. Azbury got stung by what he said was a “clam with legs”!
