Bob and Doug McKenzie in suckin air #darkhelmet #spaceballs #melbrooks #rickmoranis #shorts
In the video suckin air #darkhelmet #spaceballs #melbrooks #rickmoranis #shorts, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a duo of made up Canadian comedians who created “Great White North”, a improv which was televised on SCTV for the show’s most watched season when it got sold to CBC Television in the 80’s. Bob McKenzie is brought to life by the funny Rick Moranis and Doug is brought to life by Dave Thomas. It was made originally as a sketch to both satisfy and mock dumb Canadian content guidelines, the duo transformed into a pop culture sensation in both Canada and the States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a hit comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
A tribute to Rick Moranis’s portrayal of Dark Helmet and Mel Brook’s portrayal of President Skroob in the 1987 comedy film Spaceballs.

When I was going to High School in Culver City right next to MGM Studios, every once in awhile we would get these recruiters come from the studios to let us preview movies for free. They would have their demographics and if you fit, you got an invite to go to MGM Studios and watch a pre-release so they can see what parts of the movie people enjoyed the most and dislike the most before their final edit.
you would have a little meter through the whole movie that you held on to and you would rate it from 1 through 5 during the movie.
I was lucky enough to see Spaceballs and that Bob and Doug McKenzie movie I forget the name of it.. LOL
