Bob’s character is acted by hilarious comedian Rick Moranis and Doug’s part is acted by the comedian Dave Thomas. Although brought to life originally as an idea to both please and makes jokes about non sensical Canadian content statutes, the brothers grew up to be a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and America. The characters went on to become the focus of a bestselling comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.

  • You're literally keeping GB2 alive with all this stuff because it's treated like it's the unwanted son of the franchise. No special edition release, no big features into it - it feels completely erased at times. All the stuff you upload from '89 is fantastic and very much welcomed & appreciated.
