Bob and Doug McKenzie in Sundog Demo – Bob & Doug

In the video Sundog Demo – Bob & Doug, Bob and Doug McKenzie are a pair of fictional Canadian siblings who can been seen in “Great White North”, a ad lib skit which was included on SCTV for the show’s third season when it was broadcast on CBC Television in the 1980s. Bob’s part is played by actor Rick Moranis and Doug’s character is performed by actor Dave Thomas. Despite born originally as filler to both follow guidelines and laugh at legal Canadian content laws, the two became a pop culture phenomenon in both Canada and the United States. The McKenzie brothers later became the focus of a famous comedy album, The Great White North, in 1981.
